If you are using the unit for the first time and it will not turn on or when you press on the pedal it turns on but immediately turns off when you release it, you may need to press a bit harder on the switch. Sometimes the switch needs a bit more force to activate it the first time. Once the switch works once, it should turn on and off without any extra effort. The switch is a foot pedal so it is designed to withstand a lot of force. You should not be able to damage the pedal or the unit by pressing hard on it and you can carefully put most of your weight on it to press it and get it to activate.
If your suction seems low, turn off your cleaner and empty the dirty water tank. Make sure that the nozzle is attached properly and in the locked position, then check that the dirty water tank is attached properly and the tank release is clicked into place. If your suction is still poor, there may be a clog in the nozzle or hose.
If you hear a high-pitched whirring sound, this indicates that your dirty water tank is full and needs to be emptied.
The two black screws included in the box with your vacuum are needed to fasten the handle into place. They can be found in a plastic bag taped to the handle, and instructions for the installation can be found in the user manual.
On the PowerScrub Deluxe and PowerScrub Elite cleaners, you can turn the dial to Rinse Mode. You can then perform a rinse cycle by filling the tank with only water (no solution) and using the unit as normal.
Make multiple passes over the wet area without pressing the trigger to suck up the remaining water/solution from your carpet.
The ONEPWR Upright can be used on both carpet and hard floor. Use the two-speed switch to select the floor type you are cleaning
Ensure that the water/solution tank is properly attached and locked into place. Reference your user manual for more information on the water/solution tank assembly.
